In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Wise Book 2 A Guide and a Mercy to the Doers of Good,- 3 Who are constant in devotion, pay the zakat, and are certain of the Hereafter. 4 They are on guidance from their Lord, and will prosper. 5 And of mankind is he who payeth for mere pastime of discourse, that he may mislead from Allah's way without knowledge, and maketh it the butt of mockery. For such there is a shameful doom. 6 Whenever Our messages are conveyed to such a person, he turns away in his arrogance, as though he had not heard them -- as though his ears were sealed: give him, then, the tidings of grievous suffering [in the life to come]. 7 Verily those who believe and work righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens of Delight. 8 to abide therein in accordance with God's true promise: for He alone is almighty, truly wise. 9 He has created the heavens without pillar as you can see, fixed the mountains on earth so that it may not shake you away, and settled therein all types of living creatures. We have sent down water from the sky and made all kinds of plants grow in gracious pairs. 10 Such is the creation of Allah; now show me what, other than Him, created! No, the harmdoers are in clear error. 11
