Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We gave to him his family, and the like of them with them, as a mercy from us, and a reminder unto men possessed of minds; 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 Remember Our votaries Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of power and insight. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 And make mention of Ishmael and Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. All are of the chosen. 48 This is a Remembrance; and for the godfearing is a fair resort, 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are opened for them, 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 Hell, where they will be roasted. An evil place to dwell! 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 'This is a troop rushing in with you; there is no Welcome for them; they shall roast in the Fire.' 59 The followers will say, “In fact, for you! May you not get open space! It is you who brought this calamity upon us!” So what a wretched destination. 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
