(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
