Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the sun is covered, 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 The wild beasts stampede on the run, 5 and when the seas are set on fire, 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 and when the scrolls [of men's deeds] are unfolded, 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 by the night swarming, 17 And by the dawn as it brightens; 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). 23 And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, 27 to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
