The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 And when the mountains are made to pass away, 3 The ten-month pregnant female camels are abandoned, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 the oceans are brought to a boil, 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 the heavens are unveiled, 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 by the night swarming, 17 The rising dawn, 18 Verily this is the word of a noble message-bearer; 19 Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
