T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We did not bestow the Qur'an on thee from on high to make thee unhappy, 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and whatever lies in between them, and all that lies under the ground. 6 And if thou speakest the word aloud, then verily He knoweth the secret and the most hidden. 7 Allah-- there is no god but He; His are the very best names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. 10 When he approached it, a voice called out: 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 “And I have chosen you, therefore listen carefully to what is divinely revealed to you.” 13 Surely I am Allah, there is no god but I, therefore serve Me and keep up prayer for My remembrance: 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his own desires turn you away from it and so bring you to ruin." 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 "It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it." 18 (Allah) said: "Cast it down, O Musa (Moses)!" 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 [Allah] said, "Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its former condition. 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 That We may show you of Our greater signs: 23 "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds." 24
