۞ He who knows that the Book which has been sent to you from your Lord is the Truth, is he like him who is blind to that truth? It is only people of understanding who take heed: 19 Those who fulfill the Covenant of Allah and break not the Mithaq (bond, treaty, covenant); 20 who join together the ties which Allah has bidden to be joined; who fear their Lord and dread lest they are subjected to severe reckoning; 21 And those who are patient, seeking the countenance of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good - those will have the good consequence of [this] home - 22 - the Ever-lasting Gardens which they shall enter and so shall the righteous from among their fathers, and their spouses, and their offspring. And angels shall enter unto them from every gate, and say: 23 "Peace be upon you, because you have persevered!" How excellent, then, this fulfilment in the hereafter! 24 As for those who break the covenant of Allah after accepting it, who part what He has commanded to be united and worked corruption in the land, a curse shall be laid on them, and they shall have an evil abode. 25 Allah amplifies and straitens the means of subsistence for whom He pleases; and they rejoice in this world's life, and this world's life is nothing compared with the hereafter but a temporary enjoyment. 26
