▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Could the reward of good be aught but good? 60 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 67 In which will be the fruit, date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
