The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
