The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
