Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
