Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
