Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honorable recorders, 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
