When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 And when they reached the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the waters, being free. 61 After they had passed the place, Moses said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal; we have indeed been fatigued by this journey." 62 Said [the servant]: "Wouldst thou believe it? When we betook ourselves to that rock for a rest, behold, I forgot about the fish - and none but Satan made me thus forget it - and it took its way into the sea! How strange!" 63 [Musa (Moses)] said: "That is what we have been seeking." So they went back retracing their footsteps. 64 and found one of Our worshipers to whom We had given from Our Mercy, and to whom We had taught knowledge of Ours. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!" 67 And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?" 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
