The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Triumphant indeed are the believers, 1 those who humble themselves in their prayer, 2 who avoid whatever is vain and frivolous; 3 those who pay the zakat; 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 Those who seek beyond that are transgressors. 7 And who are shepherds of their pledge and their covenant, 8 And they who carefully maintain their prayers - 9 They are the inheritors. 10 Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally. 11 Verily We created man from a product of wet earth; 12 Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe lodging; 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 and then, behold! you shall be raised from the dead on Resurrection Day. 16 And assuredly We created above you seven paths, and of the creation We have not been neglectful. 17 And We sent down out of heaven water in measure and lodged it in the earth; and We are able to take it away. 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you, and whereof you eat. 19 And a tree (olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai, that grows oil, and (it is a) relish for the eaters. 20 And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle: We make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and you have in them many advantages and of them you eat, 21 And on them and on the ships you are borne. 22
