And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 So the rumbling overtook them in the morning; 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 And severed their Scripture into fragments. 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 about whatever they had been doing! 93 Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah. 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99
