And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, 192 Which the trustworthy Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought down; 193 into your heart, so that you may be a warner, 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not a Sign to them - (to wit, the Makkans) - that the learned men of the Children of Israel know that? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 who would have read it to them, they (pagans) would not have believed in it. 199 In this wise have We made way for it into the hearts of the culprits. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; 201 So it will come upon them suddenly, whilst they will be unaware. 202 Then they will say: Shall we be respited? 203 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 204 Do you not see that even if We give them respite for years 205 and then what they were promised comes to them, 206 Of what avail shall their enjoyment be to them? 207 And We destroyed no township but it had its warners 208 To advise; and We never oppress. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power, 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 who readily lend ear [to every falsehood,] and most of whom lie to others as well. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 and say things which they do not act upon, 226 Except those who believe and do the right, and remember God a great deal, who retaliate only when they have been wronged. Yet the oppressors will now come to know through what reversals they will be overthrown! 227

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
