It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left. 17 He does not utter a single word, without a ready recorder seated next to him. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 (And it will be said): "Both of you throw (Order from Allah to the two angels) into Hell, every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of Allah, in His Messengers, etc.). 24 "Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 He shall say, 'Dispute not before Me! For I sent you beforehand -- the threat. 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
