With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
