Al-nahl 12 of 16

And on the day when We will raise up a witness out of every nation, then shall no permission be given to those who disbelieve, nor shall they be made to solicit favor. 84 When the wrong-doers (actually) see the Penalty, then will it in no way be mitigated, nor will they then receive respite. 85 When the idolators see their idols, they will say, "Lord, these are the idols whom we worshipped instead of you." But the idols will say, "They are liars." 86 They will offer submission to God that Day, and the lies they fabricated will not be of the least avail. 87 (As for) those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way, We will add chastisement to their chastisement because they made mischief. 88 And (bethink you of) the day when We raise in every nation a witness against them of their own folk, and We bring thee (Muhammad) as a witness against these. And We reveal the Scripture unto thee as an exposition of all things, and a guidance and a mercy and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah). 89
