The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
118 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Prophets (Al-Anbyaa') before Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Certainly will the believers have succeeded: 1 those who are humble in their prayer; 2 who avoid impious talks, 3 who observe Zakah; 4 Who guard their sex 5 Save in regard to their spouses and those whom their right hands own: so they are not blameworthy 6 But whoever seeks to go beyond that, these are they that exceed the limits; 7 And those who keep proper regard for their trusts and their pledges. 8 And who pay heed to their prayers. 9 These! they are the inheritors. 10 that shall inherit Paradise; and in it they shall abide for ever. 11 Man We did create from a quintessence (of clay); 12 Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging. 13 and then We create out of the drop of sperm a germ-cell, and then We create out of the germ-cell an embryonic lump, and then We create within the embryonic lump bones, and then We clothe the bones with flesh - and then We bring [all] this into being as a new creation: hallowed, therefore, is God, the best of artisans! 14 After that, at length ye will die 15 and you will be brought back to life again on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And We created above you seven ways, and We were not heedless of creation. 17 And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you, and whereof you eat. 19 also a tree growing on Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat it. 20 You have a lesson in livestock. We provide you with drink from what is in their bellies, and you have many other benefits from them; some of them you eat, 21 And upon them and on ships you are carried. 22

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
