Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
