Lot's nation, belied their Messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 161 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 162 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 163 I ask of you no recompense for this; my reward is only with the Lord of the Universe. 164 What! Of all creatures do ye come unto the males, 165 keeping yourselves aloof from all the [lawful] spouses whom your Sustainer has created for you? Nay, but you are people who transgress all bounds of what is right!" 166 They said: If thou cease not, O Lot, thou wilt soon be of the outcast. 167 He said, "I am one of those who abhors your ways. 168 Lord, save me and my family from their deeds." 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 except an old woman who stayed behind, 171 and then We utterly destroyed the others, 172 And rained on them a shower (of Stones). How terrible was the rain (that fell) on those who had been warned! 173 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 174 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 175

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
