The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
