Remind them, therefore, that by the grace of your Lord you are neither a soothsayer nor possessed. 29 Or do they say: 'He is a poet, we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him' 30 Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you!" 31 Does their reasoning prompt them to this, or they are a people rebellious? 32 Or do they say: "He himself has composed this [message]"? Nay, but they are not willing to believe! 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 Or, were they created out of nothing? Or, were they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief. 36 Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? 37 Have they a stairway whereby they overhear? Then let their listener bring an authority manifest. 38 Has (God) daughters and they sons? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Or do they have knowledge of the Unknown which they write down? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Or, do they have a god, other than Allah? Exaltations to Allah above that which they associate! 43 Even if they were to see a part of the heavens falling down upon them, they would say, "It is only dense cloud". 44 So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs, wherein they shall (perforce) swoon (with terror),- 45 and when their evil plans will be of no benefit to them nor will they be helped. 46 Surely there are other torments besides this for those who are wicked, though most of them do not know. 47 Now await in patience the command of thy Lord: for verily thou art in Our eyes: and celebrate the praises of thy Lord the while thou standest forth, 48 and exalt Him in the night and at the declining of the stars. 49

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
