Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
