Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
