The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
