The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
