Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
