And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left. 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' 19 And the trumpet shall be blown; that is the day of the threatening. 20 And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 Hinderer of good, trespasser, doubter 25 Who sets up another god with Allah, so do cast him into severe chastisement. 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 He will say, “Do not dispute before Me – I had already warned you of the punishment.” 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
