Abraham was a community in himself devoted to God and true in faith, He was not one of the polytheists; 120 Grateful to Him for His favours; so He chose him and guided him to the path that is straight, 121 We gave goodness to him in this world, and in the Everlasting Life he shall be amongst the righteous. 122 We sent you, (Muhammad), a revelation that you should follow the tradition of Abraham, the upright one, who was not a pagan. 123 The sabbath was only appointed for those who differed over it. And indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ. 124 Call thou to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and good admonition, and dispute with them in the better way. Surely thy Lord knows very well those who have gone astray from His way, and He knows very well those who are guided. 125 If you take retribution, then do so in proportion to the wrong done to you. But if you can bear such conduct with patience, indeed that is best for the steadfast. 126 Endure with patience, for your endurance is not without the help of God. Do not grieve for them, and do not be distressed by their plots. 127 For Allah is with those who restrain themselves, and those who do good. 128
