Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 Yet refuse small kindnesses! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
