Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 So the rumbling overtook them in the morning; 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two in accordance with the requirements of truth and wisdom. The Hour is surely coming. So overlook [their faults] with gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 We have indeed bestowed on you the seven oft-repeated verses and the Great Qur'an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 Even as We sent down on the dividers 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 About all what they used to do. 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 and believe other things to be equal to God. They will soon know the truth. 96 Indeed, We know that your breast is straitened at what they say. 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99
