The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
