O mankind! A similitude is coined, so pay ye heed to it: Lo! those on whom ye call beside Allah will never create a fly though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly took something from them, they could not rescue it from it. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought! 73 They did not realise the importance of Allah as was His right; indeed Allah is Almighty, Dominant. 74 Allah chooses the Noble Messengers from the angels, and from men; indeed Allah is All Hearing, All Seeing. 75 He knows all that is before them and that which is hidden from them. And it is to Allah that all affairs are returned. 76 O you who believe, bow down and prostrate yourselves. Worship your Lord and do good, in order that you prosper. ۩ 77 And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper. 78
