If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. 70 Are they, then, not aware that it is for them that We have created, among all the things which Our hands have wrought, the domestic animals of which they are [now] masters? 71 And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat. 72 other uses also they have in them, and beverages. What, will they not be thankful? 73 Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! 74 They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance. 75 Let not their words grieve you. We have knowledge of all that they conceal and all that they reveal. 76 Beholdest not man that We have created him from a sperm? Yet lo! he is a manifest disputer? 77 And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away? 78 Say: 'He will quicken them who originated them the first time; He has knowledge of every creation; 79 He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire). 80 Is not He, who created the heavens and earth, able to create the like of them? Yes indeed; He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 81 When He wills a thing He has only to say: "Be," and it is. 82 Exaltations to Him in whose Hand is the Kingdom of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
