O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 And fear the Fire, which is prepared for the disbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the Apostle, that you may be shown mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous 133 Those who spend (benevolently) in ease as well as in straitness, and those who restrain (their) anger and pardon men; and Allah loves the doers of good (to others). 134 and who, when they have committed a shameful deed or have [otherwise] sinned against themselves, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven - for who but God could forgive sins? - and do not knowingly persist in doing whatever [wrong] they may have done. 135 For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens beneath which rivers flow – abiding in it forever; what an excellent reward for the performers (of good deeds)! 136 Some traditions have been tried before you – therefore travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell those who denied. 137 Here is a plain statement to men, a guidance and instruction to those who fear Allah! 138 So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers. 139 If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). 140 and makes men go through trials in order that He might purge the believers and blot out those who deny the Truth. 141 Or did you suppose you should enter Paradise without God know who of you have struggled and who are patient? 142 For, indeed, you did long for death [in God's cause] before you came face to face with it; and now you have seen it with your own eyes! 143
