1/4 Hizb 50
< random >
۞ When the son of Mary was mentioned as an example, you people cried out in protest, saying, 57 And say: "Are our aliha (gods) better or is he ['Iesa (Jesus)]?" They quoted not the above example except for argument. Nay! But they are a quarrelsome people. [(See VV. 21:97-101) - The Quran.] 58 He was no more than a servant (of Ours), one upon whom We bestowed Our favours and whom We made an example (of Our infinite power) for the Children of Israel. 59 And if We willed, We could have established angels on the earth instead of you. 60 And lo! verily there is knowledge of the Hour. So doubt ye not concerning it, but follow Me. This is the right path. 61 do not let Satan bar your way. He is truly your sworn enemy. 62 When Jesus came with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), he said: I have come unto you with wisdom, and to make plain some of that concerning which ye differ. So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 63 Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore serve Him; this is the right path: 64 But certain groups created differences among themselves. Woe to the unjust. They will face a painful torment. 65 Are they looking for aught but the Hour, that it shall come upon them suddenly, when they are not aware? 66 On that Day, [erstwhile] friends will be foes unto one another - [all] save the God-conscious. 67
