Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 The revelation of the Book is, without doubt, from the Lord Of The Creation. 2 Do they say, "He has invented it himself."? No indeed! It is the truth from your Lord to warn a people to whom, before you, no warner came, so that hopefully they may be rightly guided. 3 It was Allah, who, in six days created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and then willed to the Throne. You have no guardian nor intercessor other than Him. Will you not remember? 4 He governs all that exists, from the celestial space to the earth; and in the end all shall ascend unto Him [for judgment] on a Day the length whereof will be [like] a thousand years of your reckoning. 5 Such is the Knower of the unseen and the visible, the Powerful, the Merciful, 6 The One Who created all things excellent, and Who initiated the creation of man from clay. 7 then made his progeny from the extract of a mean fluid, 8 Then He created him and (caused the angel to) breathe into him his (created) spirit. He gave you eyes and ears, and hearts, yet little do you thank. 9 And they say, "When we are lost within the earth, will we indeed be [recreated] in a new creation?" Rather, they are, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, disbelievers. 10 ۞ Say: "The Angel of Death, put in charge of you, will (duly) take your souls: then shall ye be brought back to your Lord." 11
