Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
