Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the midday brightness 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
