Al-Insan 2 of 2
We have indeed, sent down to you the Koran, a (clear) sending, 23 So wait patiently for the command of your Lord, and do not yield to anyone among them who is sinful or ungrateful; 24 And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Lo! these love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous day. 27 It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change. 28 Verily this is an Exhortation; so let him who so will take a way to his Lord. 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He admits unto His grace everyone who wills [to be admitted]; but as for the evildoers - for them has He readied grievous suffering [in the life to come]. 31
