۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 and they have enraged us, 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
