[But,] verily for the God-conscious there is supreme fulfilment in store: 31 Gardens and grapes. 32 And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age; 33 And an overflowing cup. 34 There, they shall neither hear idle talk, nor yet any falsehood, 35 [All this will be] a reward from thy Sustainer, a gift in accordance with [His Own] reckoning 36 [From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech. 37 The day on which the spirit and the angels shall stand in ranks; they shall not speak except he whom the Beneficent Allah permits and who speaks the right thing. 38 That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return. 39 Lo! We warn you of a chastisement near at hand; the Day when a man will look on what his own hands have sent forth, and the unbelievers shall say: “Oh would that I were utter dust.” 40
