The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
