But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 and by that you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
