Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
TRULY WE REVEALED it on the Night of Determination. 1 And what do you know what the Night of Power is? 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 on that night, the angels and the Spirit come down by the permission of their Lord with His decrees for all matters; 4 Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn. 5
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
