He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man. 2 And what do you know, he may be of the pure! 3 Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him. 4 As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient, 5 To him you give attention. 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 And to him who came to you eagerly 8 And he fears, 9 So you leave him, and are engrossed elsewhere! 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 Inscribed in Writs honoured, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble, pious. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 Of what thing did He create him? 18 From a single sperm He created, then proportioned him, 19 and made the path of guidance easy for him to follow. 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again). 22 Indeed, he has not fulfilled that which He has ordered him. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 We poured out the rains abundantly, 25 Then We cracked the earth open under pressure (of germination) 26 And We made corn grow, 27 And grapes and vegetables 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees, 30 And fruits and fodder: 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 That Day shall a man flee from his brother, 34 And from his mother and father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 laughing, joyous; 39 And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust. 40 Covered with the blackness (of shame): 41 Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers). 42
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
