The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 "Indeed we were promised this, we and our forefathers before, Verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
